Harley-Davidson (HOG) said late Wednesday that its shareholders elected all of the company's director nominees at their annual meeting, based on preliminary results.
Chief Executive and Chairman Jochen Zeitz, Presiding Director Norman Thomas Linebarger and Director Sara Levinson were those among elected, according to the company. Harley-Davidson activist investor H Partners Management previously sought to remove all three.
"We are encouraged that this campaign compelled Harley's board to commit to numerous shareholders that Mr. Zeitz, Mr. Linebarger, and Ms. Levinson will resign from the board before the 2026 annual meeting, that it will appoint a new, external CEO, and that it will eliminate any consideration of Mr. Zeitz remaining on in an executive chair role," H Partners said.
