District Copper Corp. has launched its summer field program for the Copper Keg porphyry copper project in British Columbia's Kamloops mining Division. The 6628-hectare project is positioned at the northern end of the Guichon batholith, near Teck Resources Limited's active porphyry copper deposits. The 2025 exploration plan is multi-phased, initially focusing on a comprehensive reconnaissance to analyze geological features characteristic of the Highland Valley's porphyry copper deposits. This phase will gather detailed data on geological structures, which will inform a re-interpretation of previous geophysical surveys, laying the groundwork for subsequent exploration efforts. CEO Jevin Werbes expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the integration of historical data and a results-oriented approach to guide exploration.
