Bank of Nova Scotia's wealth management arm will offer services to ICICI Bank's high net worth clients in Canada.
Scotia Wealth Management said it entered a referral arrangement with the Canadian subsidiary of India's ICICI that will see it offer wealth-management solutions to customers. ICICI Bank Canada currently offers banking services that include accounts, money transfers and referral services for non-resident Indians.
The move is part of Scotiabank's strategy to supporting entrepreneurs, business owners and wealth creators across Canada, said Alex Besharat, executive vice president and head of Canadian wealth management at the bank.
