Bank of America said it plans to open 150 new financial centers by the end of 2027 as it looks to expand to Idaho and strengthen its existing markets.
The bank said Tuesday it expects to open four financial centers serving Boise, Idaho, to extend its reach with its current consumer, small-business, wealth-management and corporate clients in the state.
The remaining centers will be opened in 60 of the company's more than 200 other markets. Forty of the new centers will be opened this year, with an additional 70 planned for 2026, the company said.
The bank has expanded its financial-center network in recent years, entering into 11 new markets since 2014 and opening 471 financial centers in existing markets since 2016. The company said it has invested over $5 billion in opening and renovating financial centers since 2016.
