Power Integrations Q1 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rise

Power Integrations (POWI) reported Q1 non-GAAP earnings late Monday of $0.31 per diluted share, up from $0.18 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.28.

Revenue in the three months ended March 31 rose to $105.5 million from $91.7 million.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $105.4 million.

The company expects Q2 revenue $115 million, plus or minus $5 million. Analysts project $114.6 million.

The company kept its quarterly dividend at $0.21 a share, payable June 30 to holders of record May 30.

The board authorized an additional $50 million for share repurchases.

Shares of the company fell 6% in after-hours trading.
