SoftBank Group (TYO:9984) is back in the black with an attributable profit of 1.153 trillion yen for fiscal 2024, versus a loss of 227.6 billion yen in the previous financial year.
The internet services firm's earnings per share came in at 779.40 yen, compared to a loss per share of 174.20 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on May 13.
Net sales jumped 7.2% to 7.245 trillion yen in the fiscal year ended March 31 from 6.757 trillion yen a year earlier.
SoftBank declared a final dividend of 22.00 yen per share for fiscal 2024.
It did not provide an earnings forecast for fiscal 2025.
