Hanwha Ocean Signs Deal to Build Fixed Platform for Middle Eastern Ship Owner

Hanwha Ocean (KRX:042660) signed a deal with an undisclosed Middle Eastern ship owner to build a first-generation fixed platform, the South Korean shipbuilder said in a Thursday regulatory filing with Korea Exchange.

The contract, valid till August, is valued at 828.3 billion won.

Shares of Hanwha Ocean rose more than 1% in recent trade on Friday.
