Stellantis (STLA) said on Thursday it will shift production of Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio models from the Mirafiori plant in Turin to Modena, both in Italy, starting late 2025.
The move brings manufacturing of the two models back to the Viale Ciro Menotti facility, the company said.
The Mirafiori factory is preparing to launch production of hybrid version of the Fiat 500 in November, the company said earlier. The company aims to boost activity at the site after repeated shutdowns linked to weak demand for the electric 500, multiple media outlets reported.
Stellantis did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
