Under this agreement, Weatherford will migrate and modernize its software and hardware suite to AWS, including its Modern Edge Platform and control system, CygNet. This collaboration aims to improve operational efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making through the development of next-generation technologies and the enhancement of Weatherford's Unified Data Model. The partnership will also support the WFRD Software Launchpad, providing customers with access to a comprehensive suite of innovative solutions. Girish Saligram, Weatherford's CEO, expressed enthusiasm about leveraging AWS's cloud infrastructure to modernize operations and reduce complexity for their customers.
