NuScale Power Corporation reported its first quarter 2025 financial results, highlighting a significant increase in revenue, which rose by $12.0 million to $13.4 million, compared to $1.4 million in the same period of 2024. This increase was primarily driven by the FEED Phase 2 project and the Technology License Agreement for the RoPower Doicești power plant. The company reported a decrease in operating expenses, which fell by $2.3 million to $42.3 million, compared to $44.6 million in the previous year. This reduction was mainly due to lower research and development expenses. Consequently, NuScale's loss from operations narrowed to $35.3 million, down from a $44.0 million loss in the first quarter of 2024, attributed to a higher gross margin and lower operating expenses. NuScale Power also announced that it successfully sold 4.5 million shares through its At-The-Market $(ATM.UK)$ program, generating $102.4 million in gross proceeds. The company ended the quarter with $521.4 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments. Additionally, NuScale has made progress in its manufacturing process, with 12 modules already underway, and is actively engaging with prospective customers alongside its commercialization partner, ENTRA1 Energy.
