Pony AI (PONY) has confidentially filed for a listing in Hong Kong in a bid to raise additional capital to expand its business, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

The autonomous-driving company did the Hong Kong filing confidentially to limit impact on its US-traded shares, the unnamed sources told the news outlet. The offering could take place later this year, they added.

Pony AI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

The company's shares were up 7.6% in recent premarket activity.
