BEIJING, May 14 (Reuters) - China's market regulator held a meeting on Tuesday to call on the country's platform companies to support individual business owners, according to a readout of the meeting released on Wednesday.
The State Administration for Market Regulation encouraged platform companies to roll out practical measures to support individual businesses, the readout said.
Individual business owners as well as representatives from Xiaohongshu, Alipay, Douyin, PDD Holdings PDD.O attended the meeting.
