Genasys (GNSS) reported a fiscal Q2 GAAP loss late Tuesday of $0.14, narrowing from the loss of $0.16 a year earlier.
A lone analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.13.
Revenue in the three months ended March 31 rose to $6.93 million from $5.74 million a year earlier.
Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $8 million.
The company said Chief Financial Officer Dennis Klahn will retire at the end of the fiscal year. He will continue as CFO until a successor is appointed.
Genasys shares fell 14% in after-hours trading.
