** San Francisco, California-based ride-hailing co Uber announces private offering of $1 bln exchangeable notes due 2028
** It plans to use net proceeds for general purposes, including potential strategic investments
** Last week, Uber missed Wall Street's qtrly rev expectations on slowing ride-hailing growth
** UBER shares on Tues finished up 4.1% at record high close of $91.72, giving co ~$192 bln market cap, per LSEG data
** Its stock, flat after the bell, has surged 52% YTD
** In Jan, Uber-backed Aurora inked long-term deal with Nvidia NVDA.O and Germany's Continental CONG.DE to deploy driverless trucks
** AUR shares on Tues fell 7.7% to close at $7.32. Stock has gained nearly 16% YTD and is up ~140% over the past 12 months
