SMC (TYO:6273) profit attributable to owners of the parent company dropped 12% to around 156.3 billion yen for the fiscal year ended March 31, from 178.3 billion yen a year ago.
The industrial valve manufacturer's basic earnings per share contracted to 2,444.61 yen from 2,766.92 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
Revenue climbed 2% to 792.1 billion yen from 776.9 billion yen a year earlier, the filing said.
SMC declared a year-end dividend of 500.00 yen per share, bringing the full-year dividend to 1,000 yen per share. Payments will commence on June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 167 billion yen, basic EPS of 2,620.27 yen, while revenue is projected to reach 850 billion yen.
The company plans to pay a total dividend of 1,000 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
