Quanta Computer (TPE:2382) posted a profit attributable to owners of NT$19.5 billion, or NT$5.06 per basic share, for the first quarter, according to a Wednesday filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
The notebook computers manufacturer did not provide comparative year-ago figures.
Operating revenue accumulated stood at NT$485.7 billion, it said.
Shares rose over 5% on Wednesday's close.
