ZIM Integrated Shares Surge Over US-China Trade Deal

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (ZIM) shares rose more than 17% in recent trading activity Monday after the US and China reached an agreement over the weekend to temporarily reduce reciprocal tariffs.

Trading volume stood at around 7 million shares against a daily average of about 6.4 million shares.

Under the deal, the US will cut tariffs on Chinese goods to 30% from 145% for 90 days, while China will reduce the tariffs on US goods to 10% for 90 days.
