Investigators with the US Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission investigating a $32 million deal between CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD) and Carahsoft Technology are looking into what senior executives may have known about it, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing two people familiar with the matter.

The DOJ and SEC have in recent months been investigating the the deal between the two companies to supply the Internal Revenue Service with cybersecurity software, according to the report. Carahsoft made on-time payments for the order, according to CrowdStrike, but the IRS never bought or received the products, Bloomberg reported.

CrowdStrike did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
