1701 ET - Tyson Foods named its former CFO and great-grandson of its founder, John Randal Tyson, and his sister to its board of directors. Tyson stepped down as CFO of the company last year after his second alcohol-related arrest while in the role. He had been on leave from the company. His sister, Olivia Tyson, has run the family's charitable foundation since 2018. Both have been involved in board meetings for years. Their father, John H. Tyson, is chairman of the company, and the family maintains about 70% of Tyson's voting power. "I am confident about our strategy and excited to step into a new chapter of working with the fourth generation of Tyson family members to help oversee the business," Tyson said in a statement.
