Eli Lilly to Invest $250 Million in Collaboration With Purdue University

Eli Lilly (LLY) and Purdue University said Friday that the pharmaceuticals company plans to invest $250 million over eight years in a collaboration aimed primarily at finding and speeding delivery of new medicines..

The investment is an expansion to 2032 of an earlier agreement set to expire in 2027, the organizations said.

As part of the agreement, Purdue will offer space available for Lilly researchers in several Indiana facilities, the organizations said.
