Goodman Group's (ASX:GMG) recent AU$4 billion equity raise enhanced investor confidence in the company's data center funding strategy, UBS said, according to multiple media outlets on Monday.
In March, the company said it would raise AU$5.1 million by issuing 152,057 new stapled securities at AU$33.50 per security as part of its recently completed share purchase plan.
This follows the company's AU$4 billion fully underwritten pro-rata institutional placement, through the issue of about 119.4 million new securities priced at the same price.
UBS raised Goodman Group's rating to buy with a price target of AU$36.
Goodman Group's shares added 2% in recent Monday trade.
