Northwest Bancshares Names Timothy Hunter as New Chair

Northwest Bancshares (NWBI) said Monday it appointed the company's Vice Chair, Timothy Hunter, as board chair.

Hunter succeeds Timothy Fannin, who stepped down from the role as part of a planned leadership transition ahead of his retirement from the board in 2026, the company said.

Hunter most recently served as president and chief executive officer of McInnes Rolled Rings in Pennsylvania.

Shares of Northwest Bancshares were up more than 3% in recent trading.
