CSX (CSX) said Friday that it has reached a tentative agreement with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen covering about 3,400 locomotive engineers.
The new five-year agreement mirrors the wage increases, and health and welfare improvements in CSX's agreements with 13 other unions, the company said.
The labor union could not be immediately reached for comment.
Shares of the company were up more than 3% in recent premarket activity.
