Viceroy Hotels (NSE:VHLTD) has entered into an operating agreement with Marriott Hotels India Private Limited for the management of its hotel property in Hyderabad, according to a Thursday filing on the local bourse.
The hotel, to be operated under the "Courtyard by Marriott" brand, will span approximately 7,000 square yards and offer around 200 guest rooms. The agreement will last until the end of the 30th full fiscal year following the hotel's opening.
This partnership is aimed at enhancing operational standards and aligning with global hospitality practices.
Additionally, the hotel's construction site is owned by the relatives of one of Viceroy's directors, with shareholder approval granted at the company's Extraordinary General Meeting in April 2025.
