IG Group raised its revenue and profit outlook for the fiscal year on higher-than-expected trading activity in the fourth quarter driven by elevated market volatility.
The online-trading company on Monday said it now expects its revenue for the year ending May 31 to meet or slightly exceed the upper end of the current range of 1.03 billion to 1.05 billion pounds ($1.37 billion-$1.4 billion) expected in a company-compiled consensus. It also anticipates adjusted profit before tax to meet or slightly exceed the top end of the 500.5 million-516.3 million pounds consensus forecast.
The company is due to post its full-year results on July 24.
