Masimo said that it was hit by a cyberattack, which was impacting manufacturing and other operations at the medical technology company.

The company on Tuesday said it discovered unauthorized activity on its on-premise network on April 27, prompting it to activate its incident response protocols and implement containment measures. It said it remediated the incident with the help of third-party cybersecurity professionals and has also notified and is coordinating with law enforcement.

Masimo said that due to the incident, certain of its manufacturing facilities have been operating at less-than-normal levels, and the company's ability to process, fulfill and ship customer orders timely has been temporarily impacted.

It is working to bring the affected portions of its network back online, restore normal business operations and mitigate the impact of the incident.
