MARA Shares Fall After Compass Point Downgrade

MARA (MARA) shares were down more than 11% in recent Monday trading after Compass Point downgraded the company's stock to sell from neutral, with a price target of $9.50.

The downgrade came after the cryptocurrency mining company said it produced 705 bitcoin in April, down from 829 the previous month. It added that its production saw a 15% month-over-month decrease in blocks won.

Trading volume stood at over 29 million shares against a daily average of about 38.7 million shares.
