Western Digital Reports Fiscal Q3 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Rises; Dividend Declared

Western Digital (WDC) reported fiscal Q3 non-GAAP earnings Wednesday of $1.36 per diluted share.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.11.

Net revenue for the quarter ended March 28 was $2.29 billion, up from $1.75 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.32 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal Q4 non-GAAP EPS within the range of $1.25 to $1.65. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.19. The company expects revenue for the quarter within the range of $2.3 billion to $2.6 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.37 billion.

Additionally, the company said its board adopted a quarterly cash dividend program Tuesday and declared a cash dividend of $0.10 per share, payable on June 18 to shareholders of record as of June 4.

Shares of Western Digital were up more than 7% in recent premarket activity.
