Electronic technology shares gained the most on the New Zealand Exchange, rising 4.15% by midday Monday.
Rakon (NZE:RAK) was the best performer in the sector, rising 6% after the company disclosed that multiple takeover offers were received in the last 18 months.
On the other hand, process industries shares dropped 1.45%.
Scales (NZE:SCL) shares slid about 2% in recent trade.
