Xymax REIT Investment (TYO:3488) has amended its lease agreement with its parent company Xymax Corporation for the Vita Seiseki-Sakuragaoka property, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

This amendment alters the security deposit conditions in the agreement.

Previously, the lease stipulated a security deposit of zero yen. Under the new terms, the security deposit has been set at 219.8 million yen, split between two lots: 151.4 million yen for Lot (1) and 68.4 million yen for Lot (2).

This change was made to ensure smoother fund transfers and secure payment obligations under the lease agreement, particularly for situations where Xymax assumes refund obligations under subleases or in the event of future amendments to the lease structure.
