Virtu Financial (VIRT) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1.30 per share, up from $0.76 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.20.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $837.9 million, up from $642.8 million a year earlier. Analyst estimates were not immediately available for comparison.
The company's board maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.24 per share, payable June 16 to shareholders of record as of May 30.
Virtu Financial shares were up 2.4% in recent premarket activity.
