O'Reilly Automotive raised its guidance for full-year 2025 earnings per share to a range of $42.90 to $43.40, from earlier guidance of a range between $42.60 to $43.10.
The auto parts retailer said it was maintaining its full-year comparable store sales guidance range of 2% to 4% amid a new tariff landscape.
Brad Beckham, the company's chief executive officer, said the changing tariff landscape brings a high degree of uncertainty, while the nature of the implementation of tariff adjustments makes it difficult for the auto parts retailer to predict the impact to its business and customers.
For the first quarter, O'Reilly reported earnings per share of $9.35 on sales of $4.14 billion. Analysts were expecting EPS of $9.86 on sales of $4.17 billion, according to FactSet.
In the year-ago period, the company reported earnings per share of $9.20 on sales of $3.98 billion.
