Cobre (ASX:CBE) completed infill resource drilling at the Comet target on its Ngami project in Botswana, consisting of 10 diamond drill holes, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assays have been received for the first four holes, with the remaining expected within two months, the filing said.
The results will be utilized to generate a mineral resource estimate for the first half of the target before conducting an in-situ copper recovery pilot study, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 2% in midday trade Wednesday.
