April 21 - (The Insurer) - AIG has appointed Ray Hall as head of Lexington’s contract binding platform, Western World, effective immediately.
Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Hall joined AIG in 2020 as Western World’s national director. Before that, he held positions at Colony Specialty, XL Catlin, Nautilus Insurance Group and Burlington Insurance Group.
In his new role, Hall will be responsible for leading and executing Western World’s strategy in the contract bind market through an exclusive network of wholesale brokers.
He will report directly to Lou Levinson, president and CEO of Lexington.
Western World provides wholesale solutions across the contract bind property, casualty and garage segments.
In January, The Insurer reportedthat Axa XL hired Tim Whisler from Western World as its head of wholesale solutions for the Americas. Whisler had been head of Western World since 2020.
