Gen Digital Completes $1 Billion Acquisition of MoneyLion

Gen Digital (GEN) said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of fintech firm MoneyLion (ML).

Under the terms of the deal, Gen acquired MoneyLion for $82 per share in cash for a transaction value of approximately $1 billion.

MoneyLion shareholders are also entitled to receive one contingent value right per share for a conditional payment of $23 in Gen Digital stock if the average volume share price of Gen Digital is at least $37.50 for 30 consecutive trading days prior to April 17, 2027, or if the company undergoes a change of control.

MoneyLion said in regulatory filing that it has requested that the NYSE suspend trading and delist its shares.
