0426 GMT - Baidu's 1Q results will likely remain weighed by macro weakness, says Daiwa analyst John Choi in a commentary. The Chinese tech giant may see its advertising business remain under pressure in 1Q, although the situation may improve in 2H once more AI monetisation features are rolled out in 2Q. He adds that ongoing geopolitical uncertainties might add pressure to the stock's valuation. The analyst keeps an outperform rating, but cuts the target price of Baidu's ADRs to $95.00 from $110.00. Its ADRs were last at $82.50. (tracy.qu@wsj.com)
