3D Energi (ASX:TDO) said seabed surveys are set to start ahead of the upcoming joint venture Otway exploration drilling program, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
ConocoPhillips Australia operates the VIC/P79 and T/49P exploration permits in offshore Australian waters of the Otway Basin, while 3D Energi has a 20% participating interest in both permits.
The surveys are expected to take four weeks to complete, subject to vessel availability and ocean conditions.
3D Energi's shares fell a little over 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
