Global Board Finds FIRB Allegations to be Without Merit

Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) said that its reconstituted board has reviewed submissions previously made to the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) and found the allegations of breaches under Australia's foreign investment laws to be without merit, according to a Wednesday filing by the Australian bourse.

The board has informed the FIRB of its position, the filing said.

Shares of the company fell 6% at market close Thursday.
