U.S. Natural Gas Extends Losses in Seasonal Downturn -- Market Talk

Dow Jones

1004 ET - U.S. natural gas futures are lower following three straight sessions of losses on weakening seasonal demand and lingering effects from broader market reaction to U.S. tariff battles. "Weather models, as they normally are in April, are bearish and LNG feedgas has contracted from near record highs," BOK Financial's Dennis Kissler says in a note. "We are in a shoulder month of rebuilding storage and market direction remains pressured to the downside." Nymex natural gas is off 1.6% at $3.272/mmBtu. (anthony.harrup@wsj.com)
