NextDecade Signs 20-Year LNG Contract with TotalEnergies

NextDecade signed a long-term agreement to deliver 1.5 million metric tons a year of liquefied natural gas to TotalEnergies' Texas facility.

Under the terms of the agreement, Houston-based TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America said Monday it will purchase 1.5 million tons of LNG for 20 years on a free-on-board basis.

The natural gas will be delivered to TotalEnergies' Rio Grande LNG facility from the offtake from train 4, NextDecade's liquefaction unit, NextDecade said Monday.
