Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) discovered gold mineralization from recent drilling at the Lighthorse prospect of its Pinjin project in Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The intercepts yielded nine meters at 3.52 grams per tonne grade of gold from 58 meters including two meters at 13.65 g/t gold from 58 meters.
Further air core drilling to test the strike extent of the Lighthorse corridor over about 2.4 kilometers remains on schedule to start in late April, the filing added.
The company's shares fell 7% on market close.
