Honda Motor Co (HMC) will move its production of US-bound five-door Civic hybrids to Indiana from Japan, news outlets reported Wednesday.
Production of the model at a factory near Tokyo is likely to end in June or July, Reuters reported, citing a spokesperson.
"The decision was made based on external factors including the Trump administration's tariffs," Bloomberg cited a spokesperson as saying.
Honda did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
