Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (NSE:IREDA, BOM:544026) posted a rise in its consolidated profit to 5.02 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 3.37 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 1.87 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 1.25 rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 19.05 billion rupees from 13.91 billion rupees a year earlier.
Shares of the company were up 6% in recent trade.
