Euro Manganese (ASX:EMN) appointed Rick Anthon as chairman of the board of directors, effective April 11, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Anthon's appointment was brought forward due to the updated timeline for the company's fundraising.
Euro Manganese's previously announced CA$11.2 million, or AU$12.3 million, financing is now conditionally approved by the TSX Venture Exchange. A final approval is subject to the company meeting other requirements, including shareholders' approval.
In the same filing, the mining company confirmed the revised launch date of its AU$1.5 million share purchase plan on April 28 for shareholders on the record date of March 5, the filing stated.
Company shares fell 7% in recent trade.
