South Korean telecommunications giant KT (KRX:030200) completed a joint project with Thailand's Jasmine Technology Solutions to develop a large language model supporting the Thai language, Yonhap News reported Tuesday.
The collaboration, launched in March 2024, also involved South Korean AI startup Upstage. The model, capable of understanding Thai, English, and Korean, can handle queries related to Thai politics, history, and culture, the report said.
Shares of KT rose nearly 2% at market close on Wednesday, April 16.
