Honda Motor (HMC) hasn't made changes to its automobile production plans in Mexico, the country's minister of economy, Marcelo Ebrard, wrote in a Tuesday post on X.

He confirmed that Honda executives in Mexico told the government that the company isn't considering modifying production there.

Ebrard's post follows earlier reports that Honda is considering shifting part of its car production from Mexico and Canada to the US due to new auto tariffs.
