A-Mark Precious Metals named Cary Dickson as its next chief financial officer.

The precious metals platform company said Dickson, who previously served as A-Mark's CFO from 2015 through 2019, will return first as executive vice president on May 2 and then assume the CFO role, effective July 1.

Current CFO Kathleen Simpson-Taylor will retire at the end of the fiscal year.

Dickson most recently served as a partner of Hardesty, a financial services provider.

A-Mark's board also extended employment agreements to Thor Gjerdrum and Brian Aquilino, president and chief operating officer, respectively, for an additional three years, through June 30, 2028.
