Meta Platforms (META) said Friday it expanded its board to 15 members and elected Dina McCormick and Patrick Collison as new independent directors, starting April 15.

The company hasn't yet assigned them to specific board committees but confirmed they will be compensated under Meta's standard policy for non-employee directors, according to a filing.

McCormick previously served as deputy national security adviser under President Trump, while Collison, co-founder of Stripe, was a member of Meta's external Advisory Group, which advises on technology and product development.
