Anker, a China-based electronics company, has started to increase its prices on Amazon.com.

Anker is an established brand on Amazon and sells charging power banks, computer mouses and other products. The company has raised prices on dozens of products since tariffs on imports from China were announced, according to market research firm SmartScout.

The average price hike has been about 18%, SmartScout said. A power bank, 2-in-1 hybrid charger, for example, is now being sold for $109, an increase from its usual $70 price, the firm said.

Businesses are responding to tariffs impacting Chinese imports that now stand at 145%. Many Amazon products are sourced from China. About 60% of items sold on the site come from third-party sellers. Amazon sellers said they are weighing how much to potentially hike their prices when their shipments arrive in America.

Chief Executive Andy Jassy said in an interview with CNBC this week that he expects Amazon's sellers to pass on the added costs to consumers. He said Amazon is renegotiating the terms of deals with some suppliers, and that it purchased some inventory in advance of the tariffs. The company also canceled some vendor orders from China after tariffs were announced.
