Alphabet's (GOOG) Google and Microsoft (MSFT) are among the tech giants facing a possible probe from Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Massachusetts, over antitrust concerns, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The lawmaker reportedly sent a letter to the chief executives of Microsoft, Alphabet, as well as the heads of OpenAI and Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic, over artificial intelligence partnerships that may accelerate consolidation in the sector "if left unchecked."
Google is also an investor in Anthropic. Warren's letter was co-signed by Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon.
Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Amazon did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
